    I think this would be "allow incoming legacy connections" in utorrent. It's active. I think I'll try a different client.

    If nothing else works, I can try to create a new torrent with my own host as the tracker. But it should work. Maybe it just needs some time to find it?

    I'd be grateful if you could do that. I tried vuze, it doesn't even see the peers. Utorrent is now connected to one peer, but he's just starting, downloading from me.

    Just found a wonderful function in utorrent: web seeds. This lets you add a normal web mirror as a seed, so I just resumed downloading the corrupted bits from the location I first used, I'll be there in 2 minutes

    It will be interesting to see how different the experience is between playing the old demo and playing the beta-version of the mod, within weeks of each other. Hopefully you can post a comparison.

    Its in testing right now, hope thats alright to say. God knows how long though for the release, and what we'll find during testing. They'll let you know!

    Sure, that's quite alright to say. Release date for the 1.0 Beta will depend upon what kinds of bugs we come across.

    We've recruited a few non-team members (including BrokenArts) to do some testing of the final package for us. We probably won't announce an official release date until we're about a week away from releasing.

    I think it went alpha quite a while ago. I'd call it beta right now; when it's released then it will be the public beta stage of what's going on right now.

    I would think of it as alpha in the sense that every component and feature is in place and we have a complete 'package' and this is being tested in-house in separate clean installations of doom3. Internally though we refer to all this testing as beta testing. I am confident there will be an 'ah!' in the month it is released.

    Anyway, we are all breathless for this release

    Now I explored every meter of the little city in the beginning of Saint Lucia... It's really INCREDIBLE!

    IMHO, the most revolutionary feature in TDM until here, is mantling. With Mantling the thiefing approch it's really innovative and challenging. I like roofing or mantling over things, it's amazing!

    Congratulation to who created this great feature, is really awesome!

    I had to put off playing the mod for a few days (busy RL), but I finally have some time. Now the problem is I probably won't finish the mission anywhere soon...

    ...because I'm just having way too much fun getting in places I shouldn't!

    Funny you should say that as I'm just adding a few bits to a little unofficial rooftop route that might add a bit of extra fun to a future FM.

    I wonder who will be the first to actually make a full rooftop mission. What I love about the climbing is what I call 'scrambling' - low mantling and just clambering smoothly over low obstacles.

    Anyone got any plans for future Dark Mod FMs yet?

    Yes, and it has a little rooftop. And blackjack, and hookers. Well, maybe not blackjack, but definitely hookers.
