That sounds very interesting. Is that being done for a mission or are you working solely on the equipment?

It's being done for a set of missions. I decided to merge some of my current projects into one: my Nautilus campaign, my Lost City FM, and some other abandoned stuff. I'm planning for a set of 5 missions, where 4 of them are already existing and two are almost done.

This is the Nautilus as used in the missions:

Here are a couple of screenshots showing the "flare"-harpoon and its effect when used in an underwater cave:

I'm also thinking about creating special harpoon darts that will not deal any damage but create a fishnet when fired, similar to those web-shots which can freeze the player.

Are you planning for five missions or six? Either way, I'm looking forward to them, as your missions are always innovative.

I think he means that 2 of the 4 existing ones are almost done.

Five missions. What I meant was: 4 of 5 missions do already exist as a level (and not just as an idea on a piece of paper), where 2 out of these 4 are almost done.

Completed scripting of a 14-line conversation, including fading in and out, moving the player in and out, and incidental music in the background. I can finally smell Beta 1.

Instead of DromEding I've been replaying the missions I played a long time ago and really enjoyed. Just finished Saturio Returns Home and the next on the list is Autumn of Lampfire Hills.

Made a new moon and cloud deck for The Drymian Codex. I've decided not to use actual moonlight in the mission though, as doing so complicated the gameplay above-ground which was already carefully balanced with regards to streetlight placement etc. So basically my laziness forced me to go with a waning crescent moon for a change... too many missions have oversized full moons anyway.

I use Blender too. I hated the interface in version 2.49 but from 2.5 onwards it's been fine. Once you get the hang of that and start remembering the keyboard shortcuts, it becomes quite easy to use. And if you can't remember the shortcut the menus usually have what you need.

Nice work! I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that those are hippopotami heads, right?

They do look like hippos, now that you mention it. They were going to be jaguars originally but I didn't add a nose so they just ended up as sort of generic creature faces.

I've been working on a Guard/Benny skin. I've tried to capture a look that matches his dispondency and over all lack of wit. I've tweaked the helmet and chain mail too.

    I wish I had a...mmy..overshoes...where did I....

I've have also been working on some Victorian skins.

A Sherlock Holmes Skin/for Jason Otto's splendid long coat Nobleman.

    Army dude.
I will still plod on with trying to release my first mission. I am constantly amazed by the talent all you Dromeders possess, the creativity and dedication is truly inspiring, it gives me that little push to continue on.

    Look great, Purgator!

Where did you get the images to make the textures from? Those are great faces/outfits!

I don't know if that is Benny, Purgator, but it definitely is someone new, as are the other skins. Good work!

Yeah. I've always seen Benny as this guy:

To me, that face skin, plus the voice, is "Benny."
