failed to create custom darknist file TX2.

I have the gog version of thief 2 installed on my pc, thief 2 using DDfix works perfect, but when I donwloaded and installed the expansion it came up with this "failed to create custom darknist file TX2 needs to rename and alter file____ to play" I am not very good with computers whatsoever, is there any simple fix to this?

Hmmm... I am not of much help here, but there is also a T2X specific forum on this site.
And some people seems to have reported similar issues in the T2X sections.
