Gamespot's "Obvlivion: Make It Pretty" Guide

Behold! Gamespot has done a nice guide to visual modding in Oblivion!

    http://www.gamespot.com/features/6148788/index.html

Includes some nice comparison pictures - the combined effect of several of the mods is excellent. I know some of the ones in the Gamespot guide are mentioned here, but I thought this deserved its own thread, as I was suitably impressed by the whole thing.

I'd try it but my computer screams in pain when I try and run it on low settings.

The natural environment mod looks fantastic and doesn't seem to affect performance.

It doesn't for you? While performance is unnoticable in that mod in normal conditions, when it gets foggy, that mod really tanked my performance.

Hum, I picked a few of the mods out from that list and not only made Oblivion look a lot nicer but I got quite a performance increase. =o

I didn't try it in the fog, I only ran it for a few minutes.
